Overhead Crane Operator & Rigger/Signal Person
This comprehensive three-day class is designed to cover the proper operation of overhead cranes and provide the essential fundamentals for rigging personnel to meet OSHA’s definition of a 'qualified rigger.' The course includes training for rigger signalpersons, Levels 1 and 2, ensuring participants understand the critical aspects of crane operation and rigging safety. Throughout the training, various types of equipment will be covered, including cab/pulpit operated cranes, pendant operated cranes, and remote control operated cranes. Additionally, the course will address key rigging equipment such as wire rope, rigging hardware, chain hoists, and lever hoists, equipping students with the skills needed for safe and efficient crane and rigging operations.

Possess the physical ability to safely perform rigging tasks

Have a minimum of two years rigging experience. (A trainee qualification is available for personnel who do not meet experience requirement.)
