Telehandler Operator Training
This comprehensive Telehandler Operator course is designed to provide participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to operate telehandlers safely and efficiently. The course covers a variety of important topics, including the types and components of telehandlers, as well as their terminology and proper usage. Key training focuses on safe operating practices, understanding site hazards, and performing pre-use inspections in accordance with OSHA and ANSI requirements. Participants will learn how to conduct thorough pre-use inspections, recognize deficiencies and safety hazards, and properly document inspections. The course also covers telehandler setup, load handling, and the safe operation of telehandlers, including working around personnel and obstacles. Special emphasis is placed on the proper techniques for lifting, moving, and placing loads, as well as working near power lines and electrical hazards. By the end of the course, participants will have the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to operate a telehandler safely and effectively, reducing the risk of accidents and enhancing job site safety.
